No Action Replay means:
>No infinite Rare Candies, enjoy grinding on the E4 hundreds of times>No infinite hold items, have to Pickup farm all your leftovers and grind for hours and hours for BP to get other items>No instantly EV training your Pokemon>No cloning Pokemon, implications here are obvious>No instant egg creation>No instant egg hatching>No infinite EV berries, EV medicines, etc. >No move tutor code, have to manually breed all egg moves down now>No lots of other stuff I'm probably forgettingNo idea what the fuck I'm going to do when I import all my competitive Pokemon from Black and they all have no hold items. Guess I'll have to get my 100+ Leftovers through Pickup and grind the Battle whatever for a few hundred hours. Yay.
X/Y are probably the least friendly to competitive players since we can't use all the cheats and exploits they've been used to since R/B to make this shit less tedious and time-consuming. We have to spend hours and hours and hours grinding to get all the stuff we could just get instantly before.
