I'm scared of joining already established groups and threads.

How do I get in on the instacheck and shiny and breeding communities here on /vp/? Are they nice people?

It's best to come in with a goal or something to contribute, like having a list ready or a specific discussion question in mind. Threads can move fast and you might get overlooked sometimes, but don't get too mad or sad about it. There are regulars in both threads but also a lot of people who drift in and out, so don't stress too much about having to get "in" to get in.

there is an extensive catalog of thousands of people and if somebody is marked as untrustworthy everybody in the group will see it. and on the whole list of all the people, there are only 2 that are blacklisted. so you're in good hands.

I get better shit from starting a give away thread.
2 hours of 5IV pokemon just rolling into my lap.
Of course I get shit mons as well but its good to give away pokemon for those that aren't as dedicated.
But you seriously need to get yourself a ditto farm and do it yourself.
No one gives a shit about non-perfect 5IV pokemon.
I started my breeding days by begging for Forakies and Fetchlings though.
That was until I got my dittos.
