I find it hard to remember the map layouts and city names of Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova and Kalos.
I've spent the most time in Unova and though I know the layout well, I couldn't locate a single city with confidence. I'm particularly bad with Hoenn.
I also can't remember the names, appearances or typing of pretty much any of the gym leaders. The Elite Four of all the games are even harder for me to remember and short of Cynthia, Diantha and Alder/Iris I find it hard to remember the champions - so yeah, pretty much Hoenn I can't remember the champ.
That being said, the cities and names of all of Johto and Kanto are permanently burnt into my mind, likewise so too are the gym leaders, elite four and champions.
And I'm not suggesting this is because gen 1 and 2 are the best gens, but is it because I was a kid and we all lived in a pokemon world - and information was just easier to absorb. Or am I full blown ADHD? Does anyone else experience this? Please tell me I'm not the only one.
