There's nothing fair about seeing what move your opponent chose.
RNG or PokeGen mons can be obtained legitimately, and there is no difference between one of those and one actually caught or bred(other than hours of time).

google "battle analyzer". it's on the first page.
basically an improved instacheck that lets you see the opponent's pokemon and their entire movesets in the mid of a battle.
that's the reason rated wifi battles are currently down.

It's a superior feeling, they're only worth what you feel they are.
I felt it was worth hatching thousands of eggs, the other guys felt it was worth just looking up a number.

TC might be an asshole but he has a point. People who seem to be more vocal about this are the ones who care about competitive battling the most, i.e. those who at the very least used RNG abuse to get their perfect pokemon.

You know instacheck lets you see your pokemon before it hatches?
Its not manipulating in anyway it saves time. Why would you want to hatch a 10 4IV eggs to get to the 5IV egg when you can find the 5IV and hatch it then and there?

Well, yeh. It's mostly because those who competed competitively would have rather spent time battling and practicing then spent time breeding to get the same things.

What this does is give something that no amount of training or practice gives, perfect insight into the opponent's sets and their moves, since even the most skilled trainer can't predict everything.

It would be like saying a genned perfect pokemon is the same as a genned wondertomb or something along those lines.
