Venusaur, Smogontree, etc owe most of their use not to their learnpool, but their absurd stats. Venusaur learns nothing but STAB.
Sawsbuck would be alright if he didn't have terribad stats, I suppose. It's a bit like a Grass-Type Rapidash, but without the speed to take things out.
Speaking of Rapidash, how much better with this nigga be with the same 500 BST but distributed as 94 / 104 / 65 / 55 / 71 / 109. Flareblitz hits as hard as infernape's, outspeeds him, access to Wild Charge for the water coverage, and higher HP to take more recoil, but with much worse defenses.
