Seriously every gengar I've fought always got walled by Chesnaught. I know i'm one of the few that uses him but come on.

Crits from stone edge/sniper/focus energy I can deal with. These all have crit gimmicks and drawbacks because of it.

Random crits from any move? Bull-fucking-shit. My +2 special defense Pokemon shouldn't have been knocked out because crits increase damage AND FUCKING IGNORE DEFENSIVE BOOSTS.

There is no git gud. There's no way to counter. It's a completely random dice roll. Anyone who thinks crits are a good idea is a retard. Random crits in any sort of PvP is just a poor mechanic.

No, because Shadow Ball doesn't affect Chesnaught and he's UU/RU, while Sludge Wave doesn't affect ANY steel type pokemon, and they're the most common Pokemon in OU.

High in 1800+ and I have never seen a single Gengar with Razzle Dazzle. Its usually the standard Tbolt/Focus Miss/ and both stabs.

How much coverage does he get if he uses Dazzling Gleam over Focus Miss

Dazzling Gleam can deal SE to Dark, Fighting and Dragon, compared to Focus Miss' Rock, Steel, Ice, Normal and Dark.
And considering Steel isn't resistant to Ghost anymore, Dazzling may do better.
