Pure stall doesn't work, you have way too few Pokemon to cover all of your weaknesses. One wall (usually physical) per team is generally fine though.
Hazards don't work very well. Not even sticky web is particularly good in this format. Avoid at all costs. You can try to use this situation to your advantage and abuse set-up sweepers with Focus Sash (Cloyster, Lucario), which absolutely thrive on battle spot.
Make sure to switch as little as possible. Unlike 6vs6, one untimely crit is guaranteed to ruin the entire match. If you're unsure if a switch you're about to make is safe, it is better to let the Pokemon on the battlefield die than risk losing your counter.
Evasion and Moody isn't as bad as smogon tries to make it out to be. Very little people will try to use them against you, simply because of how unreliable they are. Minimize can be a bitch if you don't react quickly, so watch out.
