gamefreak is weirdly tight lipped about the anti hacking measures being taken. they have said that there will be screens to prevent hacked pokemon from being put in the pokebank but they won't say how. i'm hoping they have hidden coding that will allow them to keep hacks out. the fact that they are vague about it lends me hope.

directly transferred pokemon wont be allowed, meaning it has to be breed in gen 6, to get that hexagon.

sadly, this will fuck over a bunch of pokemon that can't breed, or really need event/move tutor moves.

I'm not sure, but the current Nintendo rule sets for Pokemon tournaments bans any Pokemon not hatched or caught in Kalos

They also ban every Pokemon that isn't in the three Kalos pokedexes

You guys are stupid.

ONLY the UPCOMING OFFICIAL Tournament does not allow Pokemon that can't be caught in Gen VI.
That has happened EVERYTIME a new Gen came out for YEARS now.

We currently have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA what Pokebank will do to identify hacked Pokmon.

I mean, for people with who have hacked Pokemon with legit stats, breeding them is really easy this time around, but people who've hacked Pokemon with impossible moves/stats/abilities, they're going to be annoyed, which is a good thing.

You can't use them competitively.
Sure chances are you can go wreck Battle Spot with your bullshit, but official tournament regulations require the Native clause, and most people are going to try to be "cool and formal and official" by using Nintendo's regulations.

breeding is easy enough that using a hacked 6iv pokemon for breeding isn't really that big of a deal.

i bred a 6iv zorua this morning and it took maybe an hour and a half including egg moves.

but that's only the first tournament. It allows only pokemon you find in the native dexes.
Every tournament after that will allow Pokemon without the blue little native seal, since legendarys and non-breedable stuff will never get it.

unown? baby pokemon? any legendaries not available could be distributed through events over time.

Honestly, I think they should keep the native clause personally. Not the Kalos Pokedex clause, but definitely the native clause.

Why do you guys care so much about pokebank anyway? The updated r4 and gateway firmwares will most likely come out before pokebank is active and you will be able to hack legit-looking pokemon within gen VI.
