Makes no sense. Every other strong attack has major drawbacks like recoil, acc or stat drops. Meanwhile, EQ, outside the flying immunity is flawless and reliable.

The fact ground is the most common immunity inthe game by a large margin isn't enough of a flaw to you?

Also, as of Gen 6 Knock Off is practically an EQ with no immunities and a crippling side effect that triggers 100% of the time.

Return is a stronger EQ with only 1 uncommon type being immune to it instead of 1/3 of the metagame.
Seriously, EQ is overrated.
There's a reason you never, EVER see choiced ground types.

because apparently Scald wasn't already OP and spammable enough.
Though to be fair Knock Off has 97 BP only on the first hit; after the item gets removed it drops to 65. Still stupidly good since that's more damage than Crunch x2 and Lucario with a mega stone is possibly the only pokemon in the game that can switch on that without negative consequences.

Why wouldn't they? I fucking love the new updated Knock Off. I'm already using the old Knock Off in Gen V NU and it's just so awesome to make the opponent lose its Eviolite/Leftovers/Life Orb/whatever. The metagame relies so heavily on items that it definitely needed some change and this is exactly it. I'm looking forward to see Knock Off become a commonly used move and making the meta much healthier and less item oriented. What is your excuse for hating Knock Off?
