The one guy in charge of balance at GF decided he really liked blaziken and wanted it to be op. Even though reckless would have been enough to make it useable next to infernape while not being retarded.

Blaziken is fast, but not bullet fast, not even Mega Blaziken. You can try to shoot him in the head and he can try to outrun the bullet, but wont be fast enough

Honestly, I think his base Sp. Attack should have been swapped with his base Speed. Had he been designed that way, I feel that he would have never been given Speed Boost.
