how do I wreck the battle institute to get 6,500 points for the medal?

I heard it has to do with how many deaths you got and how many super effective hits you get. but I just got 6,090 points with no deaths and 15 super effective hits in 29 total turns. I feel like it's impossible to do any better with just 3 pokemon. what do?
