The only reason I don't want a Mega Snorlax is because it would look like shit, while currently Snorlax is pleasing to look at.

GF just can't design a good looking bulky Pokemon since gen 4.

A lot of Pokes that needed or deserved Megas didn't get them.
Every time a weak poke gets screwed over, just remember Mewtwo got 2 Megas, and Garchomp, T-Tar, Lucario, Alakazam and fucking Gengar got them.
And in Gengars case, they decided Shadow tag was too good on Chandeleur and that Gengar deserved it.

Xatu needs a mega/evo.
It gets outclassed by Espeon in terms of Magic Bounce and its stats aren't the best.
Also its design makes the potential for a good mega/evo design quite high.

The roman/greek skirt and swirls ruin this design. It's trying to be too many things at the same time: robot/ghost/golem/gladiator and also ground type for who knows what reason. It might fit in WoW Ulduar as a trash mob, though.

Like you can even know that. Besides, an evolution is actually supposed to be larger or expand upon the previous form in some meaningful way. Bouffalant is a different animal with with completely different features and is basically the same size as Tauros. Nothing about it screams "Tauros evo."
