it's still a terrible idea to do this to a clefable without knowing what its set is.

if I was using an unaware set, why would I bother staying in? since clef has a decent special attack stat now, I use an LO 3 attack moveset.

I mean, at best Clefable has about a 50% chance of being MGuard, so he probably thought he'd take the risk. That or he just didn't know, Clefable wasn't exactly OU in the past generations.
