This means Steelix can't even really benefit from paralyze and sticky web support. Steelix also no longer resists ghost notably, making him an easy kill for Gengar or Megagar. There are better Pokemon to fill Steelix's role on your team but it seems to me like you really want a revenge killer rather than a bulky offender considering you won't be getting many safe switches and kills with Steelix, especially considering his paltry attack stat. Even in terms of weakness policy, there are better abusers of it.
