i use a circle pad pro for my xl

Yeah I meant get pokemon Y, but also get diamond, platinum, black, whatever you want. You might want to get the XL because I think there are a lot more DS games than you realize you want to play. The DS has one of the biggest and best games library of any console.

the picture there doesn't look great but i assure you its awesome, and yeah the clear cases can be found on amazon, if you just search"clear 3ds case" i got it because it protects it from scratches and the decals from wear

The charm of some threads are how sparse they are, once in a while you can find a great one. Constantly remaking threads shortly after the last one kills the charm, and most likely gives you the same posters from the last thread, giving you the same replies and little new content.

Some threads are better every once in a while..

I use my Pokémon XL mainly, the Zelda 3DS and Pokémon DSi are mint-in-box, my Pokémon DS Lite is my favorite console of all time and I still use it for the DS games.

Not pictured: purple 3DS and crimson DS Lite because they're boring and who cares.

I'm pretty sure the games you've downloaded will stick to the 3DS even if you reset it. My friend reset his 3DS countless times and I didn't hear anything like deleted programs from him (some of his savefiles were deleted, though. Pretty sure you can back those up).

Anyway, don't take my word for it since I never tried it. You can ask the 3DS General on /vg/, or search for a random 3DS thread on /v/ and ask there.
