Well in Gen 1 Scyther was my favorite bug, hell probably favorite Pokémon, do when Gen 2 came out and they gave my favorite a steel evolution.. (Steel is my favorite type) Well that just sealed the deal.

I used Trash Wormadam in a recent X Nuzlocke. It wrecked everything, until it died to one of Lysandre's pokemon. I will always have a respect for Wormadam now.

I think I like almost every bug type there is. In terms of designs the bug types are usually pretty solid.

Beedrill is my favourite, it may not be that good for battles but it was one of the coolest looking pokemon my young eyes had ever seen.

i noticed there was a third fossil poke called "ancient sludge" poke that's going as rock/poison right now -- is that gonna be based off of stromatolites? they're like ancient microbial mats from 3 billion years ago or w/e that still live in australia in some places and they basically create the rocky mounds as they get older as various minerals precipitate out of the mat and mineralize

if so can we plz talk abt giving it regenerator (for microbes b/c duh) / solid rock (b/c rock) / water absorb DW ability (b/c they're found in intertidal zones) and REALLY low speed (like ferrothorn low, but no STAB gyros)

Any of them that are half Steel type. It saves them from Flying and Rock moves while the Bug typing save the Steel typing from Fighting and Ground. Though not much help when it comes to Fire type moves.

Besides they seem a bit robotic in a way, and robots are cool.
