Obviously I'm just going to continue breeding its 5IV parents till I get the right ability, but I was curious if I could get any use out of this thing at all?

Perhaps on a doubles team?

I've recently used up most of my BP, so I figured it would be quicker to just keep going for 5IV Rock Head.

Well lightningrod eviolite Rhydon/lightningrod Assault Vest Rhyperior is pretty good for supporting Gyarados/other pokemon weak to electric

Maybe that's just me though, anything to rationalize not holding two buttons for my OCD self.

Why are you going for 6IV OP? Are you planning on using special attacks on your Rhyperior or Rhydon?

Also, if you are going for Rock Head, that ability is also almost useless. And they get no STAB moves for Reckless, either

Oh and, I was also going to say if you're breeding genderless Pokemon in the future make fucking sure it has the ability you want from the get go. Don't make the same mistake I did with Starmie and get seven perfect IV Staryus with Illuminate.

OP here. Just got my 5IV Rock Head Rhyhorn 3 eggs later.

So now that I have my Rhyperior all set, I'm thinking I might just use this 6IV one as an Eviolite Rhydon just for the sake of diversity.
