As of yet there no steel donut characters. Some people are fond of Incorporating older May and Brendan as well as a third team. I suggest you go read the synopsis on the team. It's quite interesting, you might enjoy it.
Any events, like Deoxys, would be added. Nothing would drastically altered to accommodate them. Worry not.
Most extra mons will post games. There may be the addition of new regional mons where appropriate.
