So I've been doing the Masuda Method to hatch a shiny protean Froakie and I'm over 1000 eggs in and I have the feeling that I'm somehow doing it wrong. So just a question, I have a female that is from my game and a male that's from Japan, does the foreign parent have to be a female in order for it to work? or do I just not have much luck?

It doesn't matter which one is which. I've hatched 6 shiny Masuda'd Pokemon so far with some male and some female foreigners.

Literally took me 6 eggs. I'll trade it to you for something worth it. I was originally gonna give it to a friend for gis bday but he's a huge faggot and is too lazy to put pokemon in his ds and trade. So yeah his laziness pisses me off and i want to get rid of this thing

Breed about 10-15 eggs that are 5iv, then look up their SV on Reddit, trade it over, get it back = perfect shiny

Offer them a free 5iv gift if they do it. I've got 4 perfect shinies so far. I plan on making a full perfect shiny team
