It's pretty much definite that battle maison cheats RNG such as quick claw activation, evasion, misses, crits and that such, but there's no real solid proof that they actually cheat i.e. have unattainable speed stats or something. Some people think they do, but there's often other explanations. Though if you were already mega and can show that your kanga is jolly with 31 speed and maxed speed IVs and still gets outsped by a non-mega that you know the item of, that could be proof.

Similar thing happened to me

>Houndoom used Flame Charge twice to knock out my lead
>I send in Focus Sash Gengar
>Houndoom goes first, hits me with another Flame Charge, now 3x
>Sash activates, down to 1 HP
>I anticipated this and picked Destiny Bond since I knew I couldn't get a hit in next turn

I've had opposing Pokemon that should be quite frail take hits like a champ, then hit back as if they had full investment in offense.
Innocent until proven guilty, though. I've heard stories about people tracing impossible stuff in earlier Frontiers. But I've never seen it.

dumb kids get beaten and then whine about how the maison cheats. i got fucked over by a super fast non-scarfed gallade

turns out gallade has an ability that boosts it's speed every time it flinches. i didn't know this. now i know this.

i could have assumed the game was cheating but instead i actually looked into the shit and figured out what i did wrong.

Those are the rules. If they explode or destiny bond or some shit and it causes both player's pokes to die at the same time, the one who used it loses.

I don't really know what happens if it's a trainer battle, but in all other forms of the game it's always been treated as a loss for the user of the move.
Otherwise you'd have people running explode on everything.
