It's a bare bones story with characters that are forgettable, wear good/evil signs around their necks, or have no real sense of the events that happen through out said story.

That being said, the Pokemon designs I really liked, I could enjoy the environment, and the reading between the lines beyond the story is a rather interesting though. How Pokemon battling isn't really a big thing in Kalos and it's more about enjoying being around them and simply the journey itself.

With the third version it has potential to be best game ever, but right now the story isn't as good as BW's, there's not that much post-game, the story is either way to easy (with exp. share) or a total grindfest (without exp. share), and the slowdown can be a bit annoying.

While the additions to the series are nice enough (abilities, moves, items, breeding etc.), the game itself is obviously beta and rushed for release, because pacing was poorly done, the game has some slowdown in battles, there is no 3D effect for everything, some animations look ridiculously bad (some fliers, or actually gliders, Wood hammer etc.), Inversion and Sky battles seem somewhat pointless additions, not to mention that I think they tried to add much more legendary pokemon from previous gens, but didn't because they were on a short deadline, and also the world map has too much empty space.

alot better than gen V, bur it was dissapointing in alot of thigs (opening, ending, champion, rivals, E4)

You had to grind without the EXP.Share? I've done multiple runs with no EXP.Share and not had to grind except maybe about 4~5 levels before the E4 for a move. And pre-E4 grinding isn't even as bad as usual in X/Y because Victory Road wilds are high 50's.

While the game itself is a huge leap from the past games, the story [while a bit darker than the pokemon norm] was forgettable, and the character's seemed very uninterested that A maniac just suddenly destroyed a town, along with possibly a few people and a lot of pokemon, the gameplay is great though.

2. I've certainly put more hour in it than any other Pokemon game, but that's only because of /vp/ and Battlespot.

I still think Platinum is the best though.

3, I suppose. They weren't bad, but I was honestly expecting something more? I really didn't like any of the characters this gen apart from maybe the professor. Customization was 10/10 though.

3 it had enough features to make it worthwhile & the 3D was a nice touch but the lack of content was disapointing & many of the content it did have was lackluster. I think the hoeen remake or gen7 game will be much better.

Overall the game is definitly alright but the eventual "pokemon z" remake wont be able to save it like platinum saved D/P.

i never used the exp share and you are more than OK with all the available trainers. the E4 is a piece of cake, all my mons were on lvl 50 when I entered

If it had more pokemon or the rest of the game was paced like the first 2-3 gyms, it could easily be 1 territory.
