So, when it gets brought up as an issue, do you think the school district is more likely to investigate a case where a cheerleader has sex with Mr. Hottie, or where a cheerleader willingfully seduces Mr. 50-year-old-with-basal-cell-carcinoma-everywhere?
In general, younger teachers have to worry about it more. The district knows that most of the accusations are false, but they have to investigate them all, lest the press report them not looking into "sexual abuse" cases.
