I vote for new mons to be integrated throughout and a few new towns. The whole top coast of Hoenn is unexplored, so much potential.
Team Aeros could've been nice but a large amount of anons didn't want to take the risk, so it's cut for now. We had plans to make useless towns relevant by starting off in a larger Oldale town and traveling South to a much larger Littleroot town which houses many labs. As it looks now this is cut because there is no longer any form of timeskip.
In reality a few of these things may have made this project too ambitious and untrue to the originals but it could have been great. We should focus on a smaller scale endeavor and improve what we already have as anons have mentioned. We'll see how this thing moves ahead, let's just keep it moving.
