nope max egg moves that can be passed on from both parents put together is 4. egg moves are like move tutor moves, once they're gone they're gone for good and can't be relearned

Thats not what hes asking dumbass.

An issues arises when a baby pokemon has say 6 total egg moves it can learn for example and altogether its parents has 5 of them. Which of the 5 get picked to fill in the 4 slots of the babies moves

Wait a minute.
If I were to delete surf from a pikachu in gen 4 and send it up would it still be able to relearn it in gen 6?

the gen4 game might not save the data of egg/event moves the pokemon knew then. it does now though. so we cant say. best bet is to wait until bank comes out and try it with a pokegened or cloned pikachu w/surf.

Just tried this with two Ralts: the father had Destiny Bond, Mean Look, Confuse Ray and Disable, while the mother had Disable, Destiny Bond, Memento and Shadow Sneak. The hatched Ralts has Confuse Ray, Disable, Memento and Shadow Sneak and can't relearn any move other than Growl.

It looks like the egg moves are simply randomized.

Was each ralts different? Also could you remove the parents then stick them back in?

If it's the exact same egg moves again, then what egg moves are passed might be related to index number of the moves or something
