I don't understand this, Eevee exists to show new kinds of evolutions and its meant to have varying evolutions. They aren't game breaking or game changing and are good additions to the Pokedex. Some of the gimmicks to evolve it is also fun. I'm guessing you just hate them all in general for some arbitrary meta reason.

My guess is that they couldn't or didn't think of a way to evolve it. They don't seem to want to do stone related items anymore, it has to be different. I think they could have done it with amie for Dragons as well and had it holding something or knowing a Dragon move but they might have had something else planned for a potential Dragon Evee and want to save it for later.

It's not an eeveelution, but it covers the Normal type already. Basically, people are saying Normal is already represented in Eevee not that it's an Eeveelution. A mega for it would work I think as it allows for a viable Eevee without a straight up evolution.

Gen 3 remake when they bring back secret bases you can set a pokemon to guard your base. Anyone going into your base will have to battle it, and it will earn XP by you walking around like if it was in the day care. It evolves if it levels while on guard duty, only out of party evolution in pokemon,

It saddens me to know that we probably won't ever get actual Eeveelutionsthat look even half as decent as these ones.
Fighting, Poison, and Ground ones here are 10/10 would train.

Considering the only actual cross gen evolution we got this gen was Sylveon who was also the mascot of the Fairy type, I think more eeveelutions to whore out to girls and furries is inevitable.
Plus they're pretty far along in the types anyway, I wouldn't mind having one for all the types just for completionist purposes.

No, there shouldn't be an eevee for every type. That misses the point of eevee completely.

It evolves to adapt to its environments. If there's an environment that the current eeveelutions don't cover (like, say, some kind of spirit world you can visit), then yes.

It's always said something to that effect in the dex entries.

Plus we have happiness evolutions, and Sylveon taking it a step further. The only "adapting to its surroundings" based evolutions we've had are Leafeon and Glaceon.

What are people's opinions on breeding eeveelutions to create "mutts" like Smokeon or some shit, some combos wouldn't be viable of course. I would like Dragon just to finish the Eevee special line (it wouldn't be able to interbreed).

Because theres 6 generations of pokemon now and already a ton of viable normal type pokemon. Leafeon didn't have been created but was probably introduced because they wanted a pair of with Glaceon who SHOULD have been a bulky ice sweeper however they gave him too low health and never fixed ice so it could take a hit.

dragon types are all pretty average speedwise, fastest out there is noivern and that's still lower than the 130 eeveelutions get, with 110 sp atk or atk it would be pretty beast

Normal eeveelution should definitely happen. But no weird pink designs or anything, it should be something along the lines of this. Along with it they should introduce new status moves that improve normal's type strengths.

I always figured we'll only ever get "elemental" Eevees, so no Dragon, Fighting, etc.

Although I doubt they'd ever dare not have an Eeveelution in a new generation. We'll see.

Why not just breed 2 Eveelutions and then let them pass down their moves to the child, as well as one type. So Normal/[Type] for baby Eevee, then when it evolves it retains the inherited typing in addition to whatever it evolved to. On top of that it would also have the egg moves from the parents to boot.

It's the only simplistic and logical solution I can think of so far.
