The point it makes is irrelevant to what Pokemon actually is. It goes to levels to include battle stylings and obscure Gen V characters, then just misses the point of Pokemon as a whole... completely mis-characterizing Ash in the process. Not to mention all the memes shoved in there. It makes a very bizarre spectacle.

If I recall PETA's point is that animals should be killed rather than kept by humans in any way. This isn't just an opinion they have voiced either, it's something they have actively acted on. If you look at PETA animal shelters they basically kill off almost all of their animals and IIRC there were a few scandals about them disposing corpses in other people's dumpsters.

I think you misunderstood what I said. They're not just against animal cruelty. They're against animals being kept in any way. For example, you know eye dogs for blind people? They need to die because they've been ruined by human influence so they can never lead full lives again. That is their official stance. Do you have a pet? Same goes for that too.

Basically if your dog ever gets lost pray it doesn't wind up in a PETA animal shelter or you just might find it dead in your trash can a week later.

Animal abuse is terrible, but the problem with PETA is that they don't draw any line between exploited animals and, say, pets.
And you can bet they kill more dogs than they fight farms like the one shown on your video, or free any captive animal for that matter.

Besides it's not like there's no other way around.
The equivalents of the PETA in the other first-world countries do not share its euthanize-on-sight policy.
