It'll probably happen someday sure, but the question is when? Who the fuck knows. Quite frankly, as a fan of hoenn I don't want it to happen this generation unless they put a severe amount of polish on it. X and Y were frankly a gigantic down grade from black and white two. Perhaps if they spent more time on developing games, but that would probably not be cost effective. I'd like them to at least have another generation of 3d pokemon games under their belt.
