Cloyster either sets up a shell smash, and can then just go for icicle spears. That's the nice thing about skill link. Even unboosted, thanks to STAB, super effective, respectable base attack on cloyster and a 4x weakness for poor gliscor, it just gets shredded. Not to mention, most cloysters outspeed gliscors since gliscor is sometimes max hp and max defense or some attack investment or whatever, and after a shell smash cloyster can ohko gliscor AND outspeed and live through several turns of gliscor protecting while cloyster is toxicd. I hate to say Cloyster is the one true counter for gliscor because whenever you say something is a counter for something else, some ass ravaged sperglord rolls up.
But anyway, run a cloyster. It's great in todays metagame anyway.
