With Agility, you effectively get a Shell Smash Metagross. Weakness Policy works so well because of its huge resistance list and small neutral list.

I've been enjoying my Baton Pass Gliscor when paired with Assault Vest Metagross.

I can see where people saying Fire and Ghost are coming from, but I think these types are only benefiting from Steel's importance. The Steel nerf makes Ghost a fantastic type, because it has fantastic coverage (neutral or SE on sixteen types) in addition to being good defensively with two immunities. Fire is highly relevant because there are a couple of good new Fire types, and they hit Steel super-effectively with their STAB.

Ghost is now has quite a bit in common with Dragon offensively. One type resists, one type immune, hits itself super effectively. Then it hits another type super effectively.

It's not quite better than Dragon though. There are many more normal types around than faeries. Ghost is also lacking in high base power moves. Resistances to poison and bug aren't quite resistances to fire, electric, and water (grass too butyouknowwhatever). Regardless of how many Ghosts get levitate.

Fairy honestly isn't much of a type, more of summet to buff Togekiss and a way to make sure Hydreigon doesn't go another gen without any counters.

Niggas, please, why is ghost type so hype right now? It's exactly the same as it was before, with the only difference being that it now deals neutral damage to steel types, showing just how important and influential steel type is.

It always has, is now, and always will be about dem steel types. Poison type is shit offensively, which means steel is the only solution to fairies. Not to mention steel continues to have 10 resistances, an immunity, and immunity to toxic.
