My favorite pokemon is Talonflame
My secret is that I'm stuck in a relationship I want to leave, and I am unsatisfied with my girlfriend, even though she practically worships me. We've been together for over 4 years and I'm on my 3rd year in college. She never went to college and has stayed home interning in a shitty job at a hospital that her mom made her pick up because she did so terribly in school, and her mom made it worse since she worked in the school as a teacher, she never challenged her to do well or to let her fail, so she has a terrible transcript.
My relationship with her is that of being her only real guardian, she has abandonment issues(Orphan) and a multitude of anxiety disorders that make her jump from a 9-year-old on a sugar rush to a paranoid conspiracy theorist that thinks someone is in her house at all times, to a brat having a tantrum to a todler that wants her mommy.
Since almost everyone else in her neighborhood went to college or are moving out, she feels even more isolated and leans on me and friends that are going nowhere for support.
Unfortunately, my parents moved to a different city an hour way when I graduated High school and I can barely see her over break since my car has broken down and she is too afraid of driving on the highway for that long.
I feel like I'm more of her babysitter that she has a crush on than her actual boyfriend. I have to calm her down, talk to her when no one else will or can't, and even worse, I spend every night on skype with her from around 9:30 to 11 every night where I have to make her fall asleep by either reading her a story or singing her a lullaby. Its embarrassing, especially when my roommate is in the room. As she drifts off into sleep she keeps repeating, "please don't leave me, don't go, don't go..." And doesn't remember saying it the next morning.
Its exhausting and I know I enable her, but if I don't stay with her in the night, she won't go to sleep until 3 or 5 am.
Should I go on?
