>>16464695>Needing to resist the typing to remove itRocks dig into the bigger rock, get added to the rock.
Poison types absorbs the poison from Poison Spikes. (that's what it actually says)
Ground Types bury spikes
Bugs cut the anchor lines.
>>16464705No, they weren't. Defog is an eh move that will not do anything to demote stealth rocks usage. Also, due to the fact that it is a GEN 4 HM, most of the pokemon that want to run defog (in it's small pool) will have to run without their hidden ability.
That means no Toxi-Gliscor or the like in addition to a large chunk of them being flying type without a secondary typing to resist, and basically leaves defogging to a select few:
-Scizor
-Skarmory
-Shiftry
-Flygon
-Latias
-Latios
-Empoleon
-Stuntank
-Lumineon
-Giratina
-Arceus
Of these, 4 are OU material, and they definitely aren't going to deter Stealth Rock usage at all.
Furthermore, if you actually READ what I put, Rocks is the only one that got a solid nerf (and all that did was remove the resisted SR damage and change what boosted damage)
Furthermore,
>>16464746I buffed spikes, as well as sticky web.
As spikes is now, it takes 3 layers to get to 25% damage. I said get rid of the second layer and let grounds absorb them. It would be a buff overall. In addition to giving web an improved second layer at the cost of bugs removing them.
The impact this would have would actually heavily boost shuckle usage and could boost spike usage in response to that.
