I didn't think a region bird could be better than Staraptor.
And Avalugg is so god damn fun. Sturdy, Rapid Spin, Recover, decent coverage moves, and physical bulk better than Giratina. Oh, and Mirror Coat to fuck up any special attackers.

Always wanted a Steel/Ghost. Don't even care that it comes with two extra weaknesses this gen.
For Malamar, Contrary is just fun as hell.

Greninja is a constant disappointment in the Battle Maison, at least. 5 IV Timid Protean, but he can't switch into a god damn thing, and his coverage is kind of shit. Gengar has replaced him.
Florges was used in my in-game team, and was the worst member by far. Only reason I didn't swap for something else was because it was useful for sponging special attacks, but that's about all it could do. I might try a competitive one, but this thing is Flareon-tier with it's move pool.
