So, Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen came out around 8 years after the original release of Red and Green. HeartGold and Soulsilver came out ten years after Gold and Silver were released.
I don't see a reason to come out with Ruby and Sapphire remakes. It was one of the least profitable generations with some of the least memorable Pokemon (not all). I don't think remakes are really needed anymore. The technology gap between each Nintendo handheld console is getting smaller and smaller. Gen. 3 remakes won't have the same wow factor as previous ones. Really, guys. Convince me why we need Gen. 3 remakes. Diamond and Pearl came out in 2006. Are you guys going to be bitching about your Gen. 4 remakes in two and a half years?
