If you're stuck on a game and just go "FUCK THIS" and slam the power button, not remembering to save first and thus losing your progress, that's ragequitting.
If you reset the game the instant something doesn't go your way - such as the smeargle spore fails - that's ragequitting.
If you're fighting a boss and screw up, letting it kill you because your chances to win are microscopic at best, that is NOT ragequitting.
If you're stuck in a game and say "stop, I need to take a break" and save it and step away for a while, that is NOT ragequitting.
So, if you're getting your shit wrecked and you know there's no possible way for you to win anymore, forfeiting is NOT a ragequit. Honestly, to me it just reflects badly on the people who put up such fights with "lel ragequit" because it tells me you just want to belittle and taunt your opponents.
