If you have any level of competency you can get to 1600, even with a gimmick team.

I'd consider "good" to be at least 1800.

then again there's garbage no matter what rank so rank doesn't matter than much most of the time

If you like tournament format, then yeah sure. It's basically all hyper offense though.

2000+ is close to the top of the ladder to answer your question, as least in regard to online rated. So I'd say 1600-1700 is decent there.

You might have the same problem a lot of people have: after you do a lot of battles on the same account, you only go up +2 at a time.

Make a new account, and you start getting dem +75 boosts all over again.

Hm, is there a certain reason that it is all hyper offense? Is there something that makes teams like Bulky Offense less effective? It's probably the item clause banning leftovers on multiple pokemon, right? That would really kill all stall teams.

wins+(1/2 ties)/(wins+losses+ties)*100

I only win 56% of battles...
