Critical hits may have some luck behind them, and sure, there are ways to get 100% crits all the time, but it's not exactly that powerful of a strategy, especially with crits being nerfed to only do 1.5x damage.
Confusion is only an issue if there are hazards out or if its your last Pokemon. And even then, the vast majority of confusion abusers are frail as fuck, meaning that you just need to luck out once and you'll generally take down whatever's abusing it.
Parahax is completely stopped by two incredibly common types (electric and ground) that have plenty of competitive use outside of stopping parahax. Flinchhax is only effective when combined with parahax. Both can be pre-emptively stopped with substitute, which is again, a very common move.
