To make it easier for kids. They could have made the elite 4 assholes like Battle Maison. Literally could have gave them access to the full range of pokes of their typing and made a team specially meant to counter your shit IV/EV trained team when you face them.

Literally every time I try to use a fire move on one of Kalem's pokemon while his flareon is still alive, he switches it in.

That Inver guy also pulled this flareon switching bullshit on me.

This is the ONLY time ANYTHING in the entire fucking game has EVER switched.

And I really wish they would do it more
