So I'm trying to breed a perfect Bold Rotom for dat Rotom-W defense.

So far I've gotten one with 4 IVS: 31/xx/31/31/31/xx

Should I not care about speed or keep going? Only breeding with Dittos is nightmarish at best.

A mixed attacker is one that has both physical and special attacks. All of that Aegislash's attacks are physical, meaning it is a physical attacker.

Mixed has an advantage in that it demolishes specialised walls. The downside is that it can't get the same amount of power, as resources are split over two stats.

Mixed is also harder to breed for, as a 'perfect' mixmon is one with six perfect IVs, as it uses both attack stats.

Op here. I'm in the same boat as you as my biggest weakness is fire right now. I never considered Azumarill though. Keep in mind that Rotom-W is a better counter against TalonFlame, but Azumarill may be better against Blaziken.

You can get volt switch as a battle maison prize. In X/Y, Rotom learns Hydro Pump after he transforms into Wash form. You can do this on the second floor of the Professor's Lab in Lumoise. Just interact with the boxes in the corner.

I have three boxes of Rotom eggs right now, one of them is hexaperfect and there are few other pentaperfect with Hidden Power Ice. You just need an awesome Ditto.

Lanturn is a good alternative. Doesn't have as much defenses as rotom-w but has a lot more HP, and volt absorb is fantastic against opposing rotoms who try to volt switch

Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Modest Nature
- Ice Beam
- Surf
- Charge Beam
- Substitute

This is what I use but you'll probably want something more defensive.

If you're going defensive you might want to use Scald/Heal Bell/Volt Switch on him. Up to you.

They have random shit attacks and 30 in one of the stats. I didn't manipulate that at all, just put my 5 IV Rotom to fuck a 4 IV Ditto and got a shitload of eggs while I was super training some mons. It can be done without instacheck, but you would need to hatch and calculate the IVs of multiples boxes with traditional methods.

Sadly there's no Water or Rock Fang.
If you don't mind breaking the beautiful 3 elemental fags + dragon dance move set to fit in whatever STAB rock move, it can do it, but still won't kill Blazikens and Infernapes.
