>Has a noticeable, decent-looking shiny palette (no lime-green Tauros or shit like that)
>Isn't distinctly masculine- or feminine-looking, like Machamp or Gardevoir
>Doesn't have to be of a certain gender to evolve, like Gallade or Vespiquen
>Isn't useless without the right ability, like Azumarill or Espeon
>Can't be obtained as part of the story, like Gyarados or Haxorus
