i actually really like super training, the games are fun and don't seem to take that long.
and it's less risk of me fucking up the EVs by some retard move like leaving the EXPShare on or switching into the wrong pokemon or something.

How efficient is horde farming compared to super training, anyway? Because I've been having buckets of fun super training my pokemon. It's a massive breath of fresh air considering all the EV grinding I did in previous gens, even with all the necessary stuff like power items and stat boosting consumables.

As long as you Sweet Scent the right Pokemon enough it takes a hell of a lot less time than Super Training. Best bet is to turn off attack animations too. It's also much more efficient in that you can get more EVs in a short time.

What you will need for Horde EV training:

>a blank slate Pokemon
>a high level Pokemon with a move that hits multiple targets
>would be best to bond with it in amie so you can avoid potential status moves
>a sweet scent user or a shitton of Honey
>turn off attack animations
>give your training Pokemon a power item and/or pokerus (OPTIONAL)

Simply switch in to your fighter when you've found the horde you want and watch the EVs roll in quicker than super training.

Fight hordes of Pokemon you've already trained a stat in, but equip the power item of the stat you need.
With Pokerus you still get 8 points per horde.
Oh, and super training is disgustingly slow. In the time it gives you pointless cutscenes I could have flushed 2 hordes - 100 EVs compared to your 12.

Mostly scrambled but sometimes I go the extra mile and make a ham, egg and bell pepper omelet.

Egg whites are amazing since they just absorb whatever seasoning you throw on em, so you use less overall.
