Thoughts? The plan is to use it as a sun sweeper. The EV spread gives him 400 speed in the sun, and the rest of the spread maximizes the mixed attacker potential from Growth.

You don't know Maractus that well, do you?
Its type coverage outside B2/W2 is Bounce, Poison Jab, Sucker Punch, and Hidden Power.

Substitute seems like a good idea seeing as how fragile it is. Mines currently has:
Giga Drain
Cotton Guard
Attract
Grassy Terrain

I like using grassy terrain for the 50% boost to grass attacks, I'll try Substitute on it since it seems less people are caring about muh male Pokemon so Attract hasn't handled as well. My type coverage sucks though.

This is mainly to cope with very item reliable pokemon, as well as giving set up pokemon a hard time. I've tried this against a couple gliscors and as long as they don't protect 1st turn it's golden
