how is that anyting like cloning, are you stupid? It's clever use of game mechanics, eggs when you receive them, have a random number attached to them, each trainer also has one number attached to them that cant be changed, and if those numbers match, the pokemon is shiny. You're just checking the number on the eggs before they hatch so that you can find someone who has that same number and thus hatch it into a shiny

I've got some of the event legendaries and a female IV bred Eevee with Hyper Voice. I didn't really get into breeding until this gen though, so that's all I have. I'll mostly just be trading over in-game like the starters and breeding them in XY.

if the pokemon are well done in every step, it's impossible to tel a hacked from a real one. at least it was that way when I did it a long time ago on pokemon platinum.

Ofc there will always be people doing it wrong and not putting the numbers right, or even creating pokemon with more Ivs or moves that they shouldnt be able to have, these will be caught easily

My guess is Banked mons will have their own icon. They won't be able to be used competitively, at least during 2014, but that makes sense since they always pull this for the first year of a new game.

I doubt the Kalos flag is the only way they'll prevent hacks from being used. At least, I hope not. So many Pokemon are only useful because of their move tutor moves.

I hacked a chancey in gen IV because I wanted one with seismic toss and I didn't have any 3rd gen game. It was the only pokemon I ever hacked. If I transfer that one tp b/w ant then to Y, I think it will be impossible to tell she's hacked. Now think this with tons of shinies and other shit with perfect Ivs that were hacked in previous versions. I dont think they should have enabled trading with previous gens.

Most likely chance is it won't be able to go through.
No gen IV hacks are easy to detect.
Try putting it on the GTS in Gen V and if it lets you than it might be good.

Gen V hacks if done right are almost impossible to tell from the real deal.

thing is she was done properly, I dont remember what I had to do, but stuff like ids ans secret ids and numbers and date she was caught, place, ball, Ivs, zone, etc. I dont think it will be possible, she's like any legit chansey

Actually, since there was no seismic toss move tutor in any of the gen 4 games or later, it'll be easy to see that it was hacked. Your Chansey won't have Kanto or Hoenn as its origin region on the summary page.

Anyway, Seismic Toss is an egg move for Chansey this gen, so it doesn't matter much either way.

How can they possibly develop a system to prevent those from being transfered? I dont think it's possible. Likely the obvious candidates like hacked abilities, moves and stat values, and probably non-legit event pokemon like wild-caught Jirachis.

I don't think they'd bother with anything else, given that there's a fuckton of perfect IV mons running around as it is.
