I got fucking $10 a month allowance and would save it for a couple months to buy greatest hits playstation games or pick shit up at a flea market/swap meet. My older brother, on the other hand, would blow all of his money on bullshit. But the playstation was mine, so my parents told me I had to let him play my games or they just wouldn't let me play the playstation.
Fast foward some years and I finally have a job. I buy myself an Xbox 360 and CoD 4 to play with my friends on xbox live. My older brother, having never gotten a job and not owning anything of his own, starts this shit again. And I'm like, "fuck you, I bought it with my own money, the console, the game, the controller, go fuck yourself." And my dad told me, "well, it's my house and I pay for the electricity and the internet, so if you want it to be on share or get the fuck out."
So I moved out. I left my home when I was 17 because my parents refused to let me have any sovereignty and were too busy babying my lazy brother. And to play CoD 4. And then CoD went to shit. And I've never been the same since.
