Also, there are tons of cool Pokemon in Gen 4 you'll wanna try out, too. Staraptor comes to mind, but you should also try Roserade. Roserade was fun as fuck.

Why not go with all three?

They're the best batch of starters we've gotten, ever, and each of their evolutions will help you out in the long run.

You don't even have to keep all three in the party, just switch out like I did, Torterra will handle the Gyms, Empoleon will handle the fuckload of trainers, and Infernape will incredibly rape the shit out of all of Team Galactic
