I started running Brick Break as a coverage move, and it ended up being amazing. If you get a good switch in and dance, this guy is almost unstoppable.

Well, first you take off the X stone and put on the Y stone. It doesn't benefit the same from Dragon Dance, but the Sun should be all the setup it needs.

X's DD lasts "forever" but if it switches the boost is lost
Y's sun doesn't last forever but he doesn't have to waste a turn of setup

Fly is only there due to the fact that I want a flying Pokémon in my team at all times, and Charizard is the only pokémon that can learn fly that i'm interested in using atm.

But a turn is all it needs.
Chari-X doesn't have the same crippling weaknesses as Y, and after a single DD, Chari-X will outspeed almost anything.

Y-zard brings more instant power, yes, but what about speed? In the current state of the meta, 100 is not a safe bet.

i used to have power up punch which worked pretty well too if you dont have DD

Farfetch'd is a shit Pokémon and when i get challenged to battles i'd like to have a halfway decent Pokémon to battle with. not a fucking Farfetch'd. And what's so bad about having a Solar Beam on x? it's a decent move with good coverage you wouldn't expect from a Charizard.

And no, Solar Beam is not a decent move. It's a special move on a physical attacker with a fucking turn of setup.

Coverage means FUCKING NOTHING if your opponent can just fucking switch out to something that can resist or even absorb it.

vence, it's not a great moveset because you arent taking advantage of mega charizard x's potential. his ability makes him have amazing power as a physical attacker, but you are ignoring that. mega charizard y is there for all of your special attacking needs (and one-turn solar beam), but this moveset is just silly on someone so clearly meant to be physical.

Fighting is a worse coverage option nowadays with Fairy and Ghosts more common. There is nothing significant that Fire/Fighting/Dragon might cover that Fire/Ground/Dragon doesn't already except balloon Heatran.
