Before I go and catch him I'm wondering if it's worth resetting for decent stats.

I figure worst case he could work in hail but I'm curious if anyone else has had success.

the stats are set when you ick the starter, so maybe you'll need to delete the game to get a nice bird

Well that's disappointing, it had a neutral nature and decent IVs though, I was just wondering if I could use it in doubles at all or if it's better to trade it off to fill up the dex.

I run one in a VGC doubles team with Abomasnow to spam blizzard
Articuno sets up tailwind and from there ends up as a fantastic partner for earthquake-immune support with Garchomp if Abomasnow dies, or works well as flying offense paired with Abomasnow.

This is basically what I was thinking of when I look at its stats, having access to freeze dry for that shit Rotom-W doesn't hurt either. I might put something together down the line.

I get a Calm 29/x/31/31/30/31 after soft reset a couple times.

Works pretty well as a Tailwind setter in the Maision. Freeze-Dry helps a lot to get past Bulky Waters.
