>>16564318Nintendo did a 3D Classic series of 6 games. I have 4, and honestly they aren't particularly noteworthy. I mean, if you're interested in playing the NES version, the 3D remakes are best ways to experience it, but if not, they're nothing worth getting to change your mind. Though they do have osme nice 3D, with some other improvements, like Kid Icarus being the Japanese version with background, Excitebike using Widescreen, and the elimination of Kirby's Adventure Slowdown.
Sega is also releasing a few 3D Classics throughout the next two weeks. I only have the Sonic one right now, which is Sonic in 3D. Looks crisp thanks to the aspect ratio, but it has slowdown that was present in the Genesis version, which is a bit of a disappointment. Heard Space Harrier was amazing though.
Aside from those, Attack of the Friday Night Monsters is a nice adventure game, if a bit short. It's more like a visual novel though, but with some light adventure and card game elements. Dillon's Rolling Western is a very nice Action/Tower Defense game, but may not be everyone's cup of tea since it's a very difficult game, with no tutorial at all. It's free on Club Nintendo right now though. The rewards change tomorrow, so this is your last chance to pick it up free. Gunman Clive is very cheap, and very neat. It's Mega Man in a Cowboy setting, with some neat art direction. Also the 3DS version has a 3rd secret playable character. Mario and Donkey Kong Minis on the Move is a fun puzzle game with neat 3D, same with Pushmo. Mighty Swith Force is also a Puzzle Platformer, with some fun character design. VVVVVV is also fun, but if you want the superior version, get the PC. If not, the 3DS version is still very good. Sakura Samurai is also a very fun title, mostly reaction based combat.
