I dropped the franchise when I was 12 during gen 2 and recently came back. This time I am older and care more about the game mechanics. Is it me or are dual type very unbalanced? take this guy for example, a ground/dark pokémon that is literally weak against 1/3rd of all types, meanwhile there are some dual types that have almost no weaknesses. Is there something that makes this type of pokémon viable, if not what's the point of making a third evolution Pokémon that's not viable?
