You can always out-priority it. Any faster pokemon with priority moves can start wailing away on prankster users. My biggest weakness with my sableye is if someone is smart enough to taunt it or, much more frequently, if someone starts smashing brave bird or technician bullet punches at him.

A bravebird coupled with a decent hitting attack move from the second pokemon will usually kill my sableye the first turn.

unless I sense bullshit coming and I use protect, which I run on my personal sableye.

He won't kill anything without an SE move without a band or anything. At best he'll get a single attack in before getting hit twice.

Garchomp doesn't get safeguard so he doesn't contribute to this 2 move combo.

So to answer your question, yes, Garchomp is sitting their jacking off while your dumbass meowstic is getting it's shit together. He can only attack unsupported, because that's all Garchomp does in the fastpaced VGC meta.

More often than not Cincinno can OHKO at least one of the opponent's starting Pokemon. If not, U-turn into something else.

While it cant stop things like screens, being able to stop prankster will o wisps, swaggers, twaves AND shit like Gale Wings, bullet punch and mach punch is SO worth it.
