-some people like composite teams and settings that allow for using potential that would go unnoticed by the first group.
There is nothing wrong with both approaches, though both groups try to make it seem so every so often.
Same applies to Singles VS Doubles. Too many times I have heard that this or that Pokemon should never be bred because it is worthless in single battles and double battles are irrelevant Karenfag playground.
